中２の前置詞の練習問題プリントです。
前置詞は名詞の前に置いて、「時」「場所」「手段」などを表す語です。日本語の「〜に」「〜で」にあたる語が多いので、日本語だけで判断せず、後ろにくる語に合わせて使い分けましょう。
基本文法事項
形：前置詞 ＋ 名詞
意味：時・場所・手段などを表す
- I get up at six.（私は6時に起きます）
- My bag is on the desk.（私のかばんは机の上にあります）
- I go to school by bike.（私は自転車で学校に行きます）
前置詞の後ろに he や she などを置くときは、him / her / me などの形にしましょう。
時を表す前置詞
時間の長さで at・on・in を使い分けましょう。
- at：時刻（at six / at noon / at night）
- on：曜日・日付（on Sunday / on May 5）
- in：月・年・季節・午前／午後（in October / in spring / in the afternoon）
そのほかの時を表す前置詞も覚えましょう。
- before（〜の前に）／after（〜のあとに）：Let’s play tennis after school.（放課後、テニスをしましょう）
- for（〜の間）：I watched TV for three hours.（私は3時間テレビを見ました）
- during（〜の間に）：Did you visit Kyoto during the summer vacation?（夏休みの間に京都を訪れましたか）
until と by のちがい
- Emi studied in the library until five.（エミは5時まで図書館で勉強しました）
- My father will come home by seven.（父は7時までに帰宅するでしょう）
until は「〜まで（ずっと）」、by は「〜までに」です。日本語の「に」があるかどうかに注目しましょう。
場所を表す前置詞
- at：〜で（せまい場所）at the bus stop
- in：〜の中に、〜で（広い場所）in the box / in Tokyo
- on：〜の上に（くっついている）on the desk / on the wall
- under：〜の下に near：〜の近くに around：〜のまわりに
- next to：〜のとなりに in front of：〜の前に
- between A and B：AとBの間に among：（3つ・3人以上）の間で
- The post office is between the bank and the flower shop.（郵便局は銀行と花屋の間にあります）
- Yuki took pictures in front of the station.（ユキは駅の前で写真をとりました）
そのほかの前置詞
- by：〜で（手段）by bus / by e-mail
- with：〜といっしょに、〜を持った with my brother / a girl with long hair
- about：〜について a book about Japanese culture
- for：〜のために I made a cake for my mother.
- from：〜から、〜出身の Ms. Brown is from Australia.
- of：〜の a map of your town
- in English（英語で）／on TV（テレビで）／on foot（歩いて）
前置詞を使う熟語
前置詞は決まった語とセットで使うことが多いので、まとめて覚えましょう。
- look at 〜（〜を見る）／look for 〜（〜をさがす）
- listen to 〜（〜を聞く）／wait for 〜（〜を待つ）
- arrive at 〜 / get to 〜（〜に着く）
- get on 〜（〜に乗る）／get off 〜（〜を降りる）
- be good at 〜（〜が得意だ）
- be full of 〜（〜でいっぱいだ）
- be famous for 〜（〜で有名だ）
- from A to B（AからBまで）
- for example（たとえば）／at first（最初は）
注意すること
1. this / next / last / every の前には前置詞をつけない
- ✗ We will visit Kyoto on next Sunday.
- ✓ We will visit Kyoto next Sunday.
2. between は2つ、among は3つ以上
- ✗ My desk is among the window and the door.
- ✓ My desk is between the window and the door.
3. 「by ＋ 乗り物」には a や the をつけない
- ✗ I went to Osaka by a train.
- ✓ I went to Osaka by train.
